Feeling lazy on our last night in Niseko, we decided to stay in and dine on-site in our hotel. Initially, I was expecting a good authentic Japanese meal since most of the patrons seemed to be Japanese. The sake was good and inexpensive. The food is fresh. Think all those Hokkaido specialties: sashimis, grilled fish, local veggies. All perfect. With Sake, white wine or soshu. Perfect mixes. The view of the mountain is also cool. Family warm atmosphere.
We are here in Dec2014 and the Deluxe room is spacious enough for 2 adults & 1 kid (<12 y.o). Clean comfortable room. Great place for skiing as the hotel access directly to the ski center. Powder white snow. Need to take bus (40 mins ride) if you want to get to Hirafu town/village as this resort is high up in the mountains. All meals are likely to be taken here as there are no ...
