While the atmosphere and staff were first class the food (at least what we ordered) failed to make the grade. The prawns in our "Lime, Tequila Prawns" were under cooked and returned for a re"placement order which was only marginally better. The recommended Halibut & Chips" we were expecting to enjoy was virtually tasteless and a total disappointment.
On a recommendation from friends, we visited Thai Lemongrass Restaurant for our first time on a Friday night without a reservation. The restaurant is in a nice location and easy to get to. It is close to the beach on Colorado Bay so you can have an after dinner walk! This spot is bove average for folks who aren't Thai food experts. For example, the Tom Kah Gai soup seems better (to this slurper) than Baan Thai's. Also, while admitting that such matters are highly subjective, the "mild" version the the spicy dishes seems quite enough (unlike Baan Thai's, for example, where one needs to ask for "medium" to get the same effect).
