我们从以色列经约旦河进入约旦，很简单的一个小站就是约旦的安检处。进入约旦就中午了，午餐品尝约旦的特色餐。这家餐厅位于半山处，餐厅外有一只烤炉，专门用来现场烤制面饼，我们到了以后，师傅会当面制作烤饼，脆脆的圆饼，沾着汤吃的，很好吃。

Good location close to Karak castle. Like other restaurants in the area, you can park outside if you eat there - the owners will just tell you it's free parking, but you're obliged to eat there. Got a takeaway kebab sandwich for JD2.50, including fresh salad, unlike the others nearby which only included tomato. Friendly staff.

Don't be put off by the basic setting, this is a local cafe selling homemade Jordanian food outside the castle. I enjoyed their hospitality and at jd 7 for a hearty meal and beverage, I could not ask for more.

We stopped in Karak on our the way to Petra and ate here for lunch. It is typical middle eastern style, mansaf and maklubeh etc. Around 5JD a meal per person. Nice enough.
