Good cocktails, but the place seems a bit tacky to be a cocktail bar and a bit posh to be a pub
Great UGA bar. Maybe even better than being in an Athens bar for game day-- it's all UGA alum who made it in New York but who still love their Saturdays to be full of football and whiskey. #godawgs
Lots of TVs to watch Georgia Bulldog games, but get a table or sit near the bar. It can get pretty crowded during game day.
I had made a reservation for a nice table well over a month in advance. We we rushed, not welcomed, to a really crammed tiny table in a corner. The waitress was not friendly at all and the food was barely average. For the price of the food it could have been better quality. Not recommended.
The rye whiskey flight was very good. The female bartender asked if we wanted to start a tab, we said yes, she took our card and did not return it. There were two bartenders, and both were at the opposite end of the bar from where we sat. The first bartender didn't come back to check on us. The $18 whiskey flight is great, and the tots are so good (massive serving too)! Plus bomb ass ketchup.
Whiskey list is a monster, so many diff types but on the expensive side. Food was ok, tater tot poutine, fried oysters meh, sliders had big buns, little filling. Service was slow, place is loud
Head here for drinks before a game at MSG. A little less touristy than other midtown spots.
Like a classy sports bar, solid for pre or post MSG events
