A good walking distance from the busy square, Darwin's is a low-traffic alternative cafe workspot with Wi-Fi and comfortable upholstered furniture. Specials are genius, The Longfellow is my fallback.

Amazing food. Hidden gem for sure

Try the “Mem. Drive” breakfast sandwich (eggs, bacon, avocado, and cheddar), or the “Hubbard Park” for lunch, with a generous amount of hummus, avocado, thin apple slices, carrots, sprouts & cheddar.

Grab a sangwich, all of which are named after nearby streets--I dig the Mt. Auburn--then head just up the road to Longfellow Park to munch.

Wear a 'Yankees Suck' shirt and grab any of the kickass sandwiches. Also, Woody's the coolest guy in the square.
