We visited Brick and Bean for Saturday lunch and were delighted with the service and the delicious food. I had mushrooms in a creamy paprika sauce on toast with bacon which was delightful. Had a great breakfast here today! It's the Labour Day holiday today so many cafes are closed but the Brick and Bean was well and truly open, and heaving! There were three of us and we all loved our food! My bacon and egg burger with a cappuccino for $11 (!!!) was delicious and fantastic value. Will definitely return for breakfast!

So I don't know how else to describe it... But the chef is a wizard. Not only is the food amazing! But it literally arrives at your table before you have time to talk about the weather. I thought the first time was just luck but sure enough, the wizard strikes again! Service: 11/10, food: 11/10 overall satisfaction: droolingformore/10.

Had the baked eggs and breakfast bruschetta and were blown away by both. Delicious breakfast. Food came fast, owner was friendly and receptive to the entertainment book and the coffee was a great accompaniment. I reserve 5 stars for the absolute pinnacle of food so I'm a harsh critic but I have to say this place was very close to pushing me to 5. great breakfast, will be back.
