This pub was good for a family meal and the quality was as you expect from your average pub meal...the pricing is up the higher end for no table service and pretty dated venue. However overall would go again as good outdoor area for the kids and all in all we enjoyed the afternoon.

Great pub , service is good , the food is great and one of the best beer gardens around . You are walking into history it's one of the oldest pubs around and it has a charm about it ... It has a area where the kids can play and you can sit back have a drink and a good meal and watch the footy...

I've been there after work with my workmates on a Friday afternoon. The pub is large and spacious, with several tables and chairs to accommodate groups of different sizes. I found it in some corners to be a bit dark but that may suit some guests for more privacy. A small group of old friends went to the Uni Bar for a reunion lunch as we have been doing for several years. Sadly the prices have gone up substantially and the quality of the meals has gone down. For the prices they are charging they need to provide much better food and look at improving the service and at least deliver the meals to the table instead of having to collect them...
