I loved my visit at ironbark. The whole space is so cozy and large enough that you're you can find your own little area separate from others. The pizzas themselves are beautiful. They are reasonably priced too. We paid $16 for a bbq chicken pizza and $20 for a garlic prawn one. They were both very tasty!
We just had the most amazing devious pizza, served fresh and steaming hot straight out of the pizza oven. Great family friendly area with a big screen so dad can watch the footy (if you like that type of thing). Lots of assorted seating from lounges to table and chairs.... fresh and could get a tad chilly as it is a big gazebo area. Bar for club priced drinks. Affordable prices...
Make your way thru the St. Mary's Leagues Club, past three other eateries (a bistro, café and upmarket grill - not tried these, yet) to the main covered outdoor area (non-smoking) and you'll find the 'Ironbark Terrace': another bar, a great place to relax and this fabulous pizzeria turning out excellent pizzas (served on wooden boards) from their domed-oven. Very tasty.
Organised a get together with work colleagues. They wanted to go here and I have to say, I was underwhelmed by the idea. However, I went along and was pleasantly surprised. Is this a 5 star venue? Absolutely not, however, given the context of the venue, this place deserves 5 stars. We sat outside on comfy and clean lounges, under warm heaters, eating tasty pizzas.
