We stopped by here for dinner after an afternoon at Pike Place Market. It's a fun location down by the waterfront. The salmon was good, but not great and the potato wedges were nothing special. To get 4 meals we ended up paying about $60 which I just couldn't justify for how average the food was. One of the meals was fish tacos with cod and it was not good at all.
The counters are a bit confusing. Thought I was at the crab pot, which had great reviews. For the price, it should be order at the table. Ordered crabcakes, they were ok. The sauce didn't really enhance the flavor.
I took my mom here looking for good halibut meal and clam chowder. I ordered the chowder bread bowl and she ordered three piece halibut with fries and coleslaw, no drinks. The total was $27. The chowder was a good portion but ok...overly spiced and couldn't find much clams. The halibut was terrible. It was thin and overly breaded (fried), tasted like something that you get out ...
Think tourist trap quality food. Smoked salmon was dry. Soup was ok but those crab cakes tasted like they were frozen before.
Try the big breadbowl, its large, inexpensive and delicious!
