Group ordered parmas as had received positive recommendations. Two were fine however two were half raw. Only noted after second bite and tis made most of group highly dubious of the rest oft he meal as it is crumbed [naturally]. The hotel were apologetic and replaced the meals with a free jug of beer to say sorry. Disappointing but contrary to the normal reveiw of the Parmas. H...

We went for a feed and to check out a band at the Bell Tavern... The Food was good and the beer was cold.having said that There's limited parking and The price of the Beer was expensive, I guess that's to pay for the Band! We had the House Burger it was good the place is clean and staff are great and helpful!... i would pop in for a Beer now and then!!!!...

We had our lunch at the Bell Tavern before going on the Puffin Billy. It was a wonderful meal. There was 27 of us and they served us all at the same time. The food was tops, with very friendly service, very friendly people. If we ever go in that direction again we would most definitely go there to eat. Thankyou for such great service.

The beer here is good, the wine list is adequate, and the food is filling and well-cooked. In our group we tend to have a parma - well, who can miss International Parma night? Different parmas, $12, and so filling you don't need to eat the next day. When I have a steak, the medium rare is perfect, and my mothers' well-done is not a piece of rubber. Full points to the cook! Kids...
