Pepper dog is a little too much but everything else has been wonderful.

Fire Dog is delicious. Beef hotdog cooked with Dijon mustard and hot peppers topped with grilled onions, bell peppers, and sport peppers. Best hotdog place I've ever been too

The food was great, but slightly strange to be told that if you order ice tea 2 hours before they close that you can't have a refill because they are almost out. oh well water for me!

The hot dog is as much a part of life as breathing air, and Mel's — quite frankly — is king. The Chicago dog is as good as you'll find anywhere outside the Windy City.
