We were staying in the Ad Hoc Monumental Hotel and this is the separately managed restaurant attached. Beautifully presented and very tasty food. Good quality ingredients enhanced by imaginative cooking; complex but not fussy. Pleasant and helpful waiting staff
Had high hopes based on other reviews and the first course- the brandade apertivo- but it quickly went downhill. Each dish was either a bit too syrupy sweet or too heavy on the miso sauce salty. This restaurant is part of the hotel we stayed in, but is separately managed. It has a small and slightly confusing menu, but the food is unusual and excellent, with fresh flavours, precise cooking and friendly service. Strongly recommended!

My wife and I ate at Boix quatre this evening.
