I wanted a baguette filled with cheese and chutney, simple! Firstly no baguette or any kind of crusty bread, instead only soft bread or soft buns. Crusty bread and cheddar is a pairing made in heaven (even Greggs do this). As a result of this particular offering, there was no texture sensation, the cheese was randomly cut, so some bites were massive chunks and other bites paper...

The selection of food and the quality is very impressive. I purchased all I neede in very quick time, I will certainly visit again when I am in Alnwick in January.

Whilst the staff in this establishment can't be faulted, smiley and helpful, and rather easy on the eye, their ability to make a ham, cheese and mustard sandwich would produce a sentence from Gordon Ramsey composed entirely of expletives. Not only did they not butter the bread (and didn't ask), they neglected to put any mustard in my ham, cheese and MUSTARD sandwich, skimped on...

The food was good but a bit on the expensive side. They had some really delicious desserts that I attempted to resist but ended up buying anyway.
