Lisbon is perfect destination for sophisticated people who are looking for calm, warm, intellectual atmosphere with its bookstores, excellent cafes, wonderful views and delicious sea food. But for the fado lovers, it's a disappointment, because of its totally touristic presentation around Bairro Alto.
Nice and easy. It was just around our flat and therefore a handy spot to go for breakfast. Quick and friendly service, good coffee and pasties. All you need for a quick, friendly and cheap breakfast fix. Loved it as it's very popular with local too.
The people are very gentle, fun and happy. The food is very good and tradicional. We can enjoy the culture of Portugal! We can eat meat or fish, cakes or simply drink a beer or Moscatel :P The things are very cheap and good! Go and enjoy!
This is a typical Portuguese pastry shop with a lot of different pastries to chose from. I had a bola de berlim and a croissant and a water and only paid a few euros. Service was friendly, the shop is a bit small so it is sometimes difficult to sit. It is located next to the Miradouro de Alcantara, close to Bairo Alto.
