I come to deer park hotel all the time. I eat in the public bar. I have had a lot of steaks at a lot of pub, and deer park is by far the most amazingly cooked steak i have had!! The staff are very welcoming, i would recommend going to deer park hotel!! And i will definitely be back. ☺ - Steve Clarke

Visited the Deer Park Pub the other day, they still have their steak menu which is the best thing on their menu. Been there before and the chefs special can be a treat, but the constant "good thing to order" is any of their steaks. Great meat, good price, friendly service.

Dropped in for a quick lunch and beer. I had the $15 250g Rump Chips and Salad with Pepper Gravy. Steak was lovely and thick, ckkoed exactly as requested and I loved the gravy with peppercorns. We've been a few times and find the food tasty and affordable if you go on their specials nights (they have different things like lamb shank Tuesday for $12, served with veggies and mash; their parma nights are cheap also but then the size is smaller too - though I think enough anyway). Shop a dockets have by one get one for $8, making it affordable as well.
