This restaurant is only open for limited sittings, generally Friday to Sunday. Our cycle group arranged to call in on a Sunday late morning for coffee (while the restaurant was setting-up for their lunch trade). Each coffee order came with a plate of small cakes - great to get a taster of four different cakes, rather than have to choose one only.

Had Sunday lunch with a family group for a birthday and it was very cosy and not too noisy. The food was vey tasty with schnitzels, goulash, stuffed cabbages, etc, all very traditional. Once you finished your plate staff would take it away promptly and you could go up and grab a fresh plate and start again.Desserts were very tasty also, pancakes, cake, floating egg islands,etc....

FOOD: Little cosy buffet set up - from salad, cold meat and cheese, hot food to dessert. All of the food tasted authentic and delicious. Desserts were the highlight - spot on and much better than other European desserts (i.e. French and Italian). ENVIRONMENT: Service was excellent.
