Went for a whisky tasting for a friends birthday. This is not to miss in Scotland! Worth every penny and I actually know a thing or two about whisky now. The guides are amazing.
A warm greeting and we were led directly to our table to bask in the beautiful sunshine whilst sat very comfortably in an impeccably but simply classicly dressed room. The 3 course meal was around £30 per person. The starter was a rather wonderful light, foamy bisque with mussels and asparagus. It was a beautiful, fluorescent arrangement which tickled the tast buds for the next...
Do I really need to leave a tip for here? If you know me, or the society, then you already know all you need to.
I recommend getting there around mid afternoon for a bar meal as they can run out. Excellent choice that complements the main stars of the Society, their unique single malts & grain whiskers.
Don't be shy, the range is incredible, as are the bar staff so just sit back and relax-you're in safe hands.
If you're hungry try the Bookmaker sandwich; it's enormous!
