NO 6. Acme Oyster House
This popular seafood chain lives up to its buzz and is worth the wait. We slurped down enormous fresh oysters and inhaled shrimp po’boys. It’s a classic must-visit for lunch before all that drinking.
After crushing a dozen of their famed, hot, crispy, buttery Char-Grilled Oysters, I've deemed the reputation entirely well-deserved. Read all about this French Quarter classic on WinstonWanders below!
I'll be the hundredth person to say the chargrilled oysters were one of my favorite things to eat in New Orleans, but everything we ate here was great. Don't be afraid of the line it moves fast.
Order the chargrilled oysters. Butter, garlic, Parmesan and Romano cheeses! What could be better?
Love this place ...we are here while we were in Nola ...that was about a month ago and the food is still on my mind!!!
