This place was recommended to me, but I was disappointed in the lunch. It's a small casual place in Venice, CA with what looked like an interesting menu. I had the pulled pork sandwich, but it was dry and chewy, with no smoky taste. The coleslaw with it was good, but with all of the wonderful eating options in Venice, I don't think that I'd return.
We really enjoyed our breakfast at Sauce on the Hampton. The fresh and delicious food was nicely presented. Great iced coffee! I turned my huevos rancheros into 3 healthy and large breakfast tacos -- so much food! Spouse enjoyed his breakfast burrito and red cabbage coleslaw. Service was prompt and friendly. On a Friday night we went to this restaurant based on all the good reviews we had read on TA. It was not one of the welcoming and bustling restaurants we passed on Main Street. This one was totally empty! A person was behind a counter but no guests that we could spot through the windows. How can this be? Where are the people flocking to this highly rated place?
