Had to stop by for dinner at the Golden Tulip hotel and the .it restaurant this evening. Luigi, the waiter that helped us, was nice and professional and the food, pasta Carbonara, tasted awesome! The tiramisu for dessert also tasted delicious. Stayed at a nearby b&b but wish we could have stayed here, looked nice. Would go here again for good food and service!

I am usually wary about restaurant in hotels, but we did not have a choice. Wise decision! The freshness of the Calamari, the lightly fried veggies in a paper-holder, the fish of the day--a surprise local catch, de-boned and lightly fried to a golden crisp. My Spaghetti Carbonara was rich with yellow egg yolk--a classic. The wine list was superb, enjoyed a nice glass of Barbera...

They had the special Christmas menu the day we were there. Ordered the lamb chops and some ravioli. The lamb was a bit rubbery and chewy but the ravioli was super. It overlooks their swimming place and coupled with a fireplace, it is charming place.

We arrived early .. They open for dinner at 7:30. We had drinks .. A bottle if Wine was the price of 2 glasses back home... So got the bottle! Ordered exclusively from the chefs special menu 3 courses to share. Shaved steak and greens with ciabatta bread for the appetizer. The second was AMAZING paccheri with geneviose sauce.
