Overall a good experience. Hubby bought a Living Social so we thought why not! I would say the proper rating is 3.5 stars. First we were not aware that this was a fixe menu and were diapoointed to find out. If we knew it was a fixe menu we probably would have reconsidered the LS. Needless to say I had perused the menu and had made decisions, none of which panned out because not...
My wife and I enjoyed a holiday dinner at Cicchetti put on by her employer. We had the upstairs reserved for our group of maybe 20. Friends were in town and made a reservation at Cicchetti and what a delightful find in my city. The garden entrance is very welcoming. The place seems fairly small at first entry but then you realize there is an entire upstairs with plenty of room for dining. We tried many small plates as a start and then ordered entrees - all were delicious. Bravo!
Mike and Mako are two of the top chefs in Seattle. be sure to send them your thanks.
Sit at the kitchen bar. The staff and food are awesome. And the gin fizz... Heaven.
The liquid offerings benefit from the endless infusions, tinctures, bitters, and brandies concocted by longtime “bar chef” Chris Bollenbacher (at both spots) and team.
Cool place, good prices, comfortable - Happy hour 5-6:30
Cicchetti is a hidden Eastlake gem. Their bartenders whip up superb cocktails and the interior is breathtaking. If possible, sit up stairs and enjoy an intimate view of the Space Needle.
Food is wonderful, but beware: There are several desserts, but no chocolate.
