One of the great old school creaky floor pubs - theatre to boot and good kitchen. Avoid international beers - $10.20 for an asahi!

This place is the place to go for a local bar scene! Was here on a Sunday night and there's a live band! Bartender that served us was good at recommending us beer that we liked! Love the hop hops that was recommended! Great service from him for taking our request and making a good recommendation! Didn't get his name, but here is his picture!

We went there with a group to see the play "Blonde Poison" - the Old Fitzroy Theatre is part of the premises and had a meal and a few drinks beforehand. My barramundi was excellent and reasonably priced and all the others in our group liked their food too. Had an excellent cloudy cider and it looked like I will need to return to sample some of the wide range of beers they offer...
