We used to use an Indian Restaurant not too far but here knocks the socks off. A great Indian, staff are welcoming and friendly. Great beer and wines prices and the food is great, highly recommend the Vindaloo, not a huge burning kick but with great spice and taste. It's now a regular for us.

Had my 1st visit to Cafe Eltham last night,after being a long serving customer of The star of india' for many years. So glad we made the move to try a nice place after we found 'The Star' going downhill and just living off its reputation. This by far is my favourite restaurant. The food there whether eating in or getting a takeaway is always absolutley amazing. I have never had an issue in the many, many times I have eaten there. The owner is really friendly and makes you feel at home and you are not rushed to finish your food. It is reasonably priced for the area but underpriced for the quality!
