Foil pan food, tasted reheated. Didn't appear to have been rubbed, smoked, etc. just so-so food in smaller portions. Try jackstackbbq.com for a sample of real BBQ (I'd order from there while I lived in the DC area to remember what real BBQ tasted like).
I used to work around the corner from Capital Q for many years and I never had a good meal there. I tried it maybe 4 times in 4 years and just could not get anything to be tasty. The ribs were greasy, pork undercooked, tea oversteeped, it was always something. Not recommeneded.
A business associate took me to this place based on recommendations he'd heard (he'd never been either). I had the brisket sandwich and was surprised at both the amount of meat and the flavor. Stopped in here for a bite to eat before catching a movie. Found the place pretty easily due to the fact there is a BBQ going on the rooftop. I had the brisket burrito with the spicy sauce and roasted corn salsa. Really satisfying and reasonably priced. The brisket was done perfectly.
