The Brickhouse,日光下红色砖墙静默,铁艺通花的门内可见大红“福”字“倒”了。安静,让人怀疑是否仍在经营中。只有到了晚8:00以后,才可见到这家酒馆的灯火与酒水。
My colleagues and I had a ton of fun here. The drinks and food were creative and yummy. One drink came in a Chinese food take away carton - fun fun! We laughed and tried all kinds of options to see what they would bring. Definitely recommend. Surprising amount of seating. Looks small when you peek in the door but there is an attached room and downstairs - tons of seating.
Usually go here for a friday night office hang out, the place is old and messy, but the music is good and there is always a friendly atmosphere.
There was time when I loved it here, and I mean LOVED it! But in recent years it just isn't the same. The furniture is gross, as if rescued from an east side alley. Cozy albeit questionable couches. Expect it to be busy, but try R&B Raven Cream Ale. $15 for a pitcher, a current favourite local draft of mine.
The Brickhouse is not glamorous, nor is it classy; it is down home, gritty, and feels a lot like a rec-room from an unrenovated '70's house.... and I'm NOT saying this like it's a bad thing.
