Maxim used to have a good reputation, but this visit was a bit disappointed The food if fair but a bit pricey.

Maxims fast food had been very famous before the time Cafe de Coral moving up, but already some 15 to 20 years ago. Nowadays , Maxims operated deteriorating and loosing loyal customers like me. Even this Deluxe at the arrival hall, coffee was again pre-brewed and stayed to cool in the breakfast time, also not using the grade of instant grinding beans type and just a mix of coff...

In the city hall (Low Building, 2nd Floor) lunchtime Dim Sum at Maxim's is a HK institution. Choose from a wide range of Dim Sum in an elegant room with a fine view across the harbour. Yes it is overpriced for lunch in HK and you may need to queue a long time but it should be on every tourist's To Do list.
