Bring mum here for tea break to try the popular He Zhong Carrot Cake (from #02-185). I'm ok with the lightly-salted Cai Pok Egg with Carrot Cake, but mum commented its too blend.
From the last couple of times I tried, taste is still good but the eggs r not fried to a nice crispy golden brown. Standard drop?
Two thumbs up for this stall. Only serves white carrot cake.
Compared to Seng Kee 3 stalls away, He Zhong's CTK is fluffier & more fragrant. As u can see fr photos, eggs r fried golden brown. Compared to Chey Sua @ Toa Payoh, pieces r bigger but less tasty
My favourite carrot cake! Too bad they don't have the black one :(
