Although she did not speak much or any English, the menu had photos on it, and some English words, so we were able to communicate which dishes we wanted. We walked by the Kisoya on our way to the hotel. We were not very hungry but since it was already dinner time decided to give it a try. The menu is made of Japanese dishes, and some Korean-inspired (mainly with kimchi) dishes. We ordered takoyaki, udon and cold soba set, including sushi. The food was tasty but not amazing. The udon was perfect but the broth could be more flavor...

I initially thought the food was pricey but when I saw the servings, I was surprised. A single order can be good for two people! Generous side dishes as well!
