A last minute pass from the good lady wife, led my guest and I to AJ's to enjoy a few very strong but tasty beers and try the famous black lamb curry. It didn't disappoint. Basic decor but we went for the food and drink. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the dishes and ingredients. Reasonably priced. I will return.
We fell over AJ's after a long walk and were well in need of a good feed. We were there early and got a table for two inside (although they do have some seating outside). We had black lamb curry and dahl which was strongly flavoured with coconut. 2 mains and a rice plus roti was a good amount and I found the staff very pleasant. We would definitely go again- they had a set meal...
Sadly most great restaurants that we have found in Hong Kong over the years have had their day in the sun and then faded away into the depths of dining mediocrity with thousands of other restaurants in the city.
