We actually wanted to eat at another restuarant at the Marina Bay Link Mall, but it was crowded. Akatombo was nearby and had no queue. It was my first visit here and the prices seemed quite reasonable. After we had placed our orders, we were directed to get our own green tea (either hot or cold). The food arrived quickly. The bento sets with sashimi we ordered were just average...

The food they served are fusion and not truly Japanese. Cheap but poor quality. Will not come back again even it is cheap ..

We were dubious about the affordable price but the tonkatsu Bento and the kata age and sauté chicken bento with pickles (tsukemono), vegetables and rice was actually good. Will go back for a simple and economical takeaway dinner.
