We stayed down the street for 3 days and kept returning to this awesome restaurant despite the challenge getting a table. Our waiter from the first night recognized us on our return visits. We had smoked salmon salad, charcuterie platter and a few other dishes! Awesome experience.

Regarding choices, there is a wonderful steak de jour, always fresh seafood (I'm not a seafood person), great Croque Monsier et Croque Madames, wicked soups, a wide variety of beers and wines and an excellent choice of desserts. The prices are reasonable. The staff are lively, friendly and helpful, and many of them speak English rather well. But try to speak some French in Pari...

I wandered in at lunchtime mid-week and the place was very busy - packed. I received a friendly greeting and was seated right away. My salad was quite large but so delicious I finished it :) The way the daylight came in the windows added to the pleasant atmosphere. It's always such a treat to stumble upon a place like this.
