Pleasant when open, clubby little round tables, wide outdoorish seating for those who can stand the smoke. Would have returned more often, but was already closed by early evening... Must be something I just don't understand?

After a long day of walking about town, we decided to have dinner in Nation and happened to walk by this lovely café-restaurant. While many French were having their afternoon drinks and snacks we ordered for dinner at the early hour of 5 P.M., but we were hungry and tired of walking. . . I'd happened to overhear the waiter asking his colleagues whether the kitchen was open or n...

We had a 4 night stay and ate out for all meals, this place was our favourite! A real shame they were not open at night or we would have returned! Our waiter was great, very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent, confit of duck and a peppered steak. Would love to go back there.
