My family wanted to take me to Busalacchi's A Modo Mio for my Birthday because they know I enjoy the restaurant and the food. Less than 2 hours before our reservations we received a call telling us they had booked a large party that would fill the inside of the restaurant for the evening. They offered us seating outside and said they had heaters that usually worked fairly well....

This little San Diego restaurant has been here a long time. We remember it from about twenty years ago. The wine is good, the entrees are excellent, the service prompt and cordial, and we really enjoyed the meal. They have an outdoor patio when the weather allows. Good for adults, maybe not from small children. Great fun to hear the waiter break into "Happy Birthday" in Italian...
