read a few reviews and was not really was I was expecting. . . . bit of a dive though staff was nice, burgers were decent. . . . my wife wasn't too keen on the tater tots (like cardboard). sat at bar, good beer, good service, nothing too special but for a pre or post concert spot, it's right there.

I really wanted to like Satellite Room, and I actually kind of did, for the atmosphere (funky industrial-ish not-quite-a-dive exposed cinder block darkness) and for its proximity to the 9:30 Club (right next door), but not for its primary purpose (dinner before the show). Food: pretty meh. The gravy on the tater tot poutine didn't have a homemade flavor or consistency and drown...

Where else are you going to find a burger named after Dave Grohl? Their burger concoctions are exciting. The ingredients themselves could be better. Choose between a chill interior or the enclosed patio - either are a great place to meet friends or grab a bite after a long day's work.
