Walked quite a way, and back, on a cold, windy evening on the recommendation of the concierge at the hotel at which I was spending a few nights. I would do it all again. Kaz is a small Sushi joint with a superlative menu, fresh fish, well presented and very tasty. I'll be back on my next trip to DC. Hopefully the weather will be better...

Decent food. Weird concept, IMO. I don't think it's going to make it if I'm being completely honest.

They are all about seating as many people in a night as possible. Went after work with a friend and the waitress came to ask if we needed anything else about a dozen times (not exaggerating). We ordered appetizers and entrees and then we decided to sample more of the menu and finally my friend also ordered dessert. Could hardly carry on a conversation with all the interruptions...
