Very extensive breakfast menu with reasonable prices. We had no problem getting a table. We enjoyed it so much, we went back several days later. Everything was served wrapped to go, so it was no problem to finish our coffee while getting a start sightseeing. And yes, when looking this place up, it is Carvings, not Cravings.

Great sandwiches and burgers. Very nice selection. Usually busy with GWU students but the line goes quickly! I love the G Street which is a vegetarian pita sandwich! The fries here are awesome and the burger is great as well. They have a great vegie burrito in the mornings! The people who work here work very hard. There are a few tables but not many. ATM inside if you need one....

This place is pretty basic and quite small (just a few eat-in tables) but it has a good selection and prices are very reasonable. For example, I had an everything bagel with cream cheese and a coffee and it was just US$4.50 and the bagel and coffee were great. Service was friendly. Could do with the floor being swept a bit more often but other than that I recommend it for quick...

First, it is called carvings not cravings. I had the philly chews take and my wife had a burger. With two bottles drinks it came up to $17. The food was cooked right I front of me and it was delicious.
