We came to this restaurant while visiting Capitol Hill. There was no waiting time and were seated right away. The ambiance is okay. Restroom is located in the basement and it's dark and dingy. After meeting with our Representatives on the Hill, my husband and I decided to try Young Chow, since it was fairly close to the House offices/and our hotel. We were early so we ended up getting to experience their incredibly cheap Happy Hour prices for drinks and appetizers. Hotel suggested this for take-out - even another traveler seconded the suggestion. Awful. Even the edamame were bad (which is hard to do). There has to be better take out Chinese in DC!
The sushi is definitely your best bet if you end up here and it really isn't bad. The Chinese, however, is consistently poorly prepared. Not many places deliver to SW so I keep trying this place and it keeps disappointing. Egg rolls and sweet and sour pork were both super greasy, and the pork was mostly batter.
