Had gone to breakfast at Asahi Grill before and it was pretty good, but never tried their dinner menu. Sadly, I will never go there again for lunch or dinner again. The fish I ordered was terrible (Chinese style) and my wife's chopped steak was bad too. We felt like we wasted our money. Sadly, we'll never go there again.

The Beef Stew and Oxtail Soup from Asahi Grill is by far AMAZING. As usual every trip in to Honolulu whether its for business, doctor appointments, or visit family requires a quick stop at Asahi Grill for some good food. Local foods, hefty portions, great taste and cheap is every persons best friend. I know its mine - have you stopped in today? ENJOY!

Happy hour is gud

If it's getting close to 8pm, ask for a "marker" and you'll get drinks for Happy Hour prices after it ends.

The bar has $1 Karaoke and happy hour till 8pm. Good pupus. See Taryn the bartender / server!
