Beyaynetu here was really nice, esp. with beef. Surprisingly, there was no Tej (mead).

I had never been in an Eastern African restaurant before so a friend who lives in Stuttgart took us there. The food was very nice, the space is well decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. However, they lack of staff and the service was very slow. It's a good place to go if you wanna have a quiet evening and are not in a hurry.
We wanted to try some African food and after searching some options which were closed we finally landed here. Very good food but service is quite slow... The meat was good, I advise the trying plate with chicken, beef and lamb. Also shame is the incense smell they serve together with tea at the end.
I liked the "probier platte 2" specially the Bamya and the aubergine, perfectly spiced. Its very relaxed, dont go there if ur in a hurry! Just take ur time. Its sometimes challenging to eat Non fingerfood with the fingers, but it can bring up some funny moments... Just enjoy
Order the traditional kitfo....you won't regret it...one of the best things to order...delicious!
