I've been walking past this place for months and finally yesterday went inside. A mistake not to come earlier! Not cheap (€10 for entree-but delicious!- and €15 for main, around €4-5 for a glass of really good wine) We had a fantastic waiter, friendly and helpful, everything was really delicious (also dessert) and a lovely atmosphere. I like my new local.

... almost a year on. Now the bad news first. When we were there, service had a low point. No, not unfriendly or anything like that. More like, forgetfulness. Until otherwise confirmed I would like to treat that as a one off. Food was as good as the last time round, with lovely to interesting combinations, all-in-all trending towards Mediterranean cuisine

Ablaufdatum is a Mediterranean restaurant and bar with a wonderful garden. Food is Mediterranean topped with regional ingredients and is top quality and is delicious. Ablaufdatum is also great to meet for aperitifs and finger food between 5 and 6 p.m. It is also a fantastic event location for birthday parties and weddings.

Just the place to go to with friends for an evening of good food and conversation. Service is very friendly and helpful and in our case also patient, since we were the last ones to leave on a not too busy evening
