tried here for somewhere different and have to say the breakfast was very good.Felt like it had just been cooked for me, tasty, well presented and fresh. Fairly speedy service in a busy little place. chef obviously knew what he was doing. Coffee was good too, even better we had entertainment voucher so was great value.

We ate lunch here yesterday and I was suprised that the restaurant wasn't full to overflowing because the meal I had which was warm chicken salad with bacon, was delicious. My spouse had mushrooms and bacon on ciabatta and they were both generous servings. The cabinet had many choices and all looked tempting. Blax is a good spot for a business breakfast or if you want a delish lunch to go. The staff are lovely, the coffee is good and the pastries French. Yummo.
