I had a craving for a laksa and a few people recommended Qiji (where I've previously only been for tea). The laksa here was ok but certainly not fantastic. There are definitely better places to go in Singapore. but on the plus side the outlet at Marina Square never seems that busy and service is quite efficient.
This place is pretty good value for money, although as with other more local cafes the tea is a fairly simple affair. On this visit (to the Marina Square outlet) we didn't try any of the food - perhaps something to consider on a future visit.
They serve various local delicacies that is a must-try for all. The noodles dishes and the side orders were delicious and worth the value.
I have previously been to the one in Bugis and Funan a couple of times in the past, and the most recent to the one in Marina Square. The food somewhat appeared to be smaller in portion, and the quality slipped a little. Overall the nasi Lemak and popiah are still decent. Prices are not hawker centre level, but not overly expensive as well.
