have been here a couple of times, since we live around the corner. What i like about this Italian is that it has the Russian Shaslik touch.. meaning you can have your meats and fish on a charcoal grill which is unusual for italian restaurants.. i had a great grilled dorado fish which had nice smokey flavours. My wife had a nice scallop salad and pasta with crab... all delicious...
We have been going to this restaurant for nearly five years. In that time, I have never had an average meal or experienced poor service. The food is always very, very good, prepared fresh in their open kitchen. During the summer they have an upstairs (on the roof) covered terrace where you can dine and enjoy the night air.
I've been to the ones on Stroiteli and Ostozhenka. Andiamo really know how to find a great location in and amongst the city. The one on Stroiteli serves mostly simple, but very tasty Italian, their meringue with raspberries worth going for alone, and have an open grill for meat feasts. We had a dinner there with a big group of about 12-15 people and we all liked it. It''s nice atmosphere, delicious food and big choice of beverages (which are a bit overpriced in my opinion). Nice pizzas and pastas. Very courteous waiters.
