We didn't know that almost everything local closed on Sunday. We left the Mauna Kea Hotel on Sunday morning in search of a local breakfast. We got an omelette and pancakes. Great prices. Local people. I think we were the only tourists there. This is between Hawi and Kapaau on the main highway.

This restaurant business is so friendly to all customers and sooo very clean with no rats in the kitchen, etc. All employees are so great at their work duties. Its too bad all isn't receiving cash.
