Brings back memories of the original Shingle Inn cafe which was an institution thatI visited in my mother's womb and many times following that.
Enjoyed high tea for four. The service was efficient and fast and the food was generous and excellent. Tasty super fresh ribbon sandwiches, warm scones and delicious petit fours. The venue is true to the original - warm and woody and nostalgic. Having lost so many Brisbane historic properties the restoration of this venue in City Hall is a great initiative.
