3.5 star above average , conveniently located by UCSF. Great service. Had an appt at UCSF dental clinic and will be closed by the time I finished my appt, OAllowed to pick up my order even it is just closed

This restaurant is definitely low key and not fancy. However, the food is great, and the service friendly. Prices are very reasonable, and they seem to do a lot of takeout orders, as well. I'd recommend eating in, though, because you get to have the delicious complimentary chai tea!

Just walked out of Tikka Masala neither excited or unhappy. If say the employees looked the same way. For several weeks I frequented UCSF hospital because of a sick family member. Let's say that the choices of places to eat within walking distance of UCSF is limited. But this place is awesome affordable and taste this place is great! The people are friendly and the beer is cold. Fantastic for those restricted to this lonely hill in SF
