The perfect word for the Brisket on rye sandwich enjoyed this afternoon. Fond of good pickles, theirs is brined just right. The bread was a fresh and choice. There isn't much space to sit except for the four seat bench at the window. There was an small ablution font for ritualistic hand washing (before eating bread) with clear directions - for those that do so. The place noneth...

We tried 2 hotdogs and were very impressed by the quality. Everything tasted nice and fresh. The salads & sandwiches looked amazing - wish we had more time to try them - only 4 stars as it's not the cleanest place in the world...

World's most flavorless soup.

People are ragging on Mendy's prices but the truth is they have the best Glatt deli food in NYC. All of the daily lunch specials are tops and the soups are spectacular

Keep it basic at lunch with a 1/2 soup, 1/2 sandwich at this kosher joint.
