bartender Nick makes great drinks, octopus appetizer is delicious and the best seat is by the chef in the back :-)
The front dining room and bar here feel like a spacious lodge from another era. Menu highlights include calabaza squash croquettes, braised octopus with potatoes, olives, and lemon, and roast chicken.
Try the Tuna basquaise, prepared in a Basque style, is served with sauteed tomatoes, peppers and olives at the Commissary in the Presidio of SF.
