Only our second time eating Vietnamese food (bad experience 1st time). My wife had pho soup with tripe which she liked. I had #69 beef, chicken and shrimp with vegetables and white rice. I thought it was fantastic. Ordered coke, but got can and cup of ice, would have rather had fountain drink. Service was okay, not real friendly, but they were attentive. Strip mall parking.
Went here cause our normal place was down for maintenance. It was reallygood. I had the charbroiled beef and rice. Very tender beef. Wife and daughter had the chicken and noodles pho. Chicken was very good and not dry at all. Oy bad part is they only had the steam rice and not the "ketchup" rice. I would go here again.
A friend highly recommended Pho So 1, considered it as No. 1 as the restaurant’s name implied. We were underwhelmed to say the least. It faces Reseda Blvd has two doors to get in, the back one from parking lot. Parking (on the back) was packed today maybe due to the neighboring grocery store. Its setting was simple and plain. Service? As many people mumbled: slow and no smile....
This is one of the pioneer and above average Beef noodles soup (PHO) in Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley area for decade(s). The service is amazing quick and good. We come here at least once a week. They also have good boba and thai tea. The name says it all...Pho so 1 = Pho number 1. We love it!
