A little pub tucked away in a very narrow passage off The Strand. It has a great atmosphere, a few good cask Ales, wines and quick service. This place is ideal for a few drinks Pre or post theatre, and if dry it has some impromptu seating in the passage way outside. There was a football match on the T.V. which brought a few extra people. Food is served, but we had already eaten...
found it by accident, nice old friendly atmospheric pub, will definitely seek it out again. Staff were entertaining, beer was good - what more do you need??
I cannot comment on the food at this establishment but the pub itself is steeped in history and somewhere to visit for a drink or two before or after the theatre. Sorry I cannot offer more info but it really is a very intriguing place especially if you are interested in London history.
It's tiny It's got great music Can be kind of hard to find, but only makes it better Ample selection of drinks and very amiable staff Ambiance ambiance ambiance We stopped here for a few pints before heading for the theatre and had a great time. Highly recommend it though I'd hate to see it getting ultra popular and loosing its air of lost in time place .
